Our UCSF Colleagues at Work

OE has benefited from the work of hundreds of individuals on the various OE Work Groups.  Since the original work groups for AP/HR, Pre-Award, Finance and AP/HR Implementation Group have completed their work, we moved their information to the archives.  In order to track OE from its earliest days, information that becomes out of date is moved to the Archives. 

The initiatives are currently supported by a Pre-Award Implementation Group, OE Procurement, IT, Senior Finance Advisory Group, The Managers Finance Think Tank, the Finance Functional Leadership Team, and the soon to be named Phase IB Advisory Group.  We are awaiting information from David Odato concerning the recently renamed UCSF Human Resources Advisory Group (formerly AP/HR Advisory Group).

"What has happened to OE Finance?  All the focus is on HR and Pre-Award but finance is key to our department operation, why didn't finance get the same attention?"

OE Finance does seem to have gone under the radar these past months while pre-award and AP/HR dominated the ‘OE headlines’.

From the outset, it was clear that finance had the bigger challenge because our processes and institutional practices are intertwined with policy and more difficult to address.  See more....
