UCSF Human Resources: Serving the Academic and Staff Community

In January and February, UCSF Human Resources, Serving the Academic and Staff Community, conducted a series of orientations and technology demonstrations to help departments assigned to Service Centers B-E prepare for the transition to HR shared services.  Please note these links require that you login to MyAccess.

  • Service Centers B-E Go Live Orientation:  The orientations provided departmental business officers, finance and other departmental leadership with basic information about the go live dates and process, service level agreements, billing procedures and departmental transition tools such as process maps.
  • HR Service Request System Demonstration:  Demonstrations of the HR Service Request System provided department managers and key staff with an overview of how the tool works and the critical business process planning steps departments should take to prepare to use the tool for requesting and tracking requests for HR service. Please note that there were technical difficulties during this recording in which can be fast forward through.
  • MPM Demonstration:  Demonstrations of the Magical PAF Machine (MPM) showed how this critical tool for processing faculty payroll works and provided key departmental planning information.
