OE Coordinating Committee (OECC)

The Operational Excellence Coordinating Committee (OECC) oversees the execution of the OE program on behalf of the Chancellor.  Co-chaired by Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Jeff Bluestone and Senior Vice Chancellor John Plotts, the OECC includes administrative and financial leaders from across UCSF. 

The OECC deliberates and finalizes the solutions recommended by the various OE Work Groups.  The OECC's charge is to ensure that OE initiatives appropriately balance the delivery of cost savings with service and quality improvements, while maintaining a keen focus on the financial targets set by our Chancellor.  The OECC monitors timelines and resources to ensure OE initiatives are adequately supported, on track and reasonable in light of campus capacity to implement the improvements.
