When asked Susan what she is most looking forward to in this new role she said she felt that while organizational change is difficult, it is an opportunity for us to work more efficiently and cohesively; moving ahead in the administration of research, patient care and teaching. She wants to consistently see that departments have outstanding human resource support done in a cost effective way with employees that are challenged and appreciated. We also asked what may be the most challenging aspect to which Susan respondedthat communication is typically the biggest struggle- saying the right thing at the right time to the right people. There has been a tremendous amount of uncertainly within the staff, and she’s looking forward to everyone knowing their role and hopes we can see opportunity when faced with unexpected outcomes.
Please join us in welcoming Susan to her new role!
