In addition, Jason has continued to educate himself by completing a multitude of certifications throughout his career after earning his BS and MBA.
When we asked Jason what he was most looking forward to in his new role, his response was: “I'm most looking forward to working directly with such a great group of UCSF departments. I'm always in awe of the incredible work being done on a daily basis here at UCSF. It's going to be exciting to learn more about the unique contributions of each department and to begin working on ways to support the goals of each group. I'm also looking forward to giving UCSF's talented AP&HR professionals better access to the tools and information they need to provide high quality support services to UCSF.
We also asked him what he envisions being the most challenging aspect in his new role and his response was: “I expect the initial transition period to be the most challenging aspect. We're going to have to continue to provide support through the existing AP&HR departments while at the same time building improved procedures and tools for the new organization. It's going to require a lot of hard work but I'm confident that the benefits to AP&HR professionals and our customers will be well worth the effort.
Please join us in welcoming Jason to his new role!
