OE AP/HR is pleased to announce the beginning of the Tier 3 recruitment. The following positions have been posted on the UCSF Campus Internal Candidate Gateway. Please note that all of these positions, except the VPAA Generalist position closed on Friday August 19. The VPAA Generalist 3 will close on Tuesday August 23.
Timeline and Selection Process

"Job Clinics" will be held for applicants to ask questions about their candidacy and the process during the weeks of August 8 and August 15 as follows:
- August 9: Parnassus, S-214, from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
- August 10: Laurel Heights, Room 263, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
- August 11: Mission Bay, Genentech Hall, Room 114, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
- August 15: MCB, Room 126, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
- August 16: SFGH, 7E12, 7th floor of the main hospital (bldg 5), 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
- In late August, Directors and Managers will review the entire applicant pool and determine which candidates to interview.
- Interviews will occur in late August/early September; skill survey reference checks will be conducted simultaneously.
- Directors and Managers will review finalists and match them to appropriate positions and levels based on experience, skills, knowledge, cluster preference for cluster positions, and needs of each team/cluster/specialty center for varying levels of work.
- Job offers will be made to successful candidates by mid-September; unsuccessful candidates will also be notified.
July 2011: OE Jobs Update
The office of the AVC HR is establishing a Business Operations and Decisions Support (BODS) unit that will serve the newly formed OE AP/HR organization of Clusters and Specialty Centers in the areas of Financial Management, Personnel Administration, Decision Support, Procurement, Facilities Management, and Special Projects.
Two of the new BODS positions are now posted on the UCSF Campus Internal Candidate Gateway.
