Finance3

  • If you missed the Finance3 Town Hall on Feb 5, you can watch the video of the presentation including Q&A here.
  • The Reporting Solution has a new name – MyReports.  The MyReports project team is working with Subject Matter Experts across the campus to develop a robust set of “best practice” standard financial and operational reports that provide roll-up and drill-through capabilities. There will be three levels of reports – Managerial, Operational, and Transactional.   The team is also developing easy-to-use tools to deploy to campus experts to perform ad hoc queries and analysis. The MyReports reporting tool will replace the Weblinks system.
  • The Hyperion Planning system is a Web-based tool being developed to aid annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes for departments, control points, and campus-wide. The Hyperion Planning project team has finalized the scope for Phase I Go Live in January 2014, and presented the details at the February Department Champions meeting.  See also Hyperion Planning Q&A.
  • Champions have completed the first round of chartfield mapping to the new Chart of Accounts (COA). The COA team will run a mock conversion over the next month. Mapping will continue throughout 2013, with three more mock conversions until Go Live in January 2014.
  • Check out the Finance3 website for additional news and information.
